About Wade Huey, M.D.

As medical director of BodyLogicMD of Houston, Dr. Wade Huey devotes his wellness-based practice to helping women and men find relief from symptoms of hormonal imbalance, oftentimes associated with menopause, andropause (the male menopause), thyroid disorder and adrenal fatigue. Dr. Huey offers his patients customized wellness programs that include a combination of personalized nutrition and fitness regimens, stress reduction techniques and bioidentical hormone therapy.

Dr. Huey specializes in integrative and functional medicine, and focuses on treating the body as whole to help patients achieve optimal overall health and wellness. Dr. Huey decided to transition into integrative medicine so that he could treat disease from a preventive standpoint. Instead of merely treating symptoms of disease, he uses comprehensive testing to identify the root cause of disease and treats the condition accordingly.

Dr. Huey is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is also an active member of the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Wade Huey, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health & Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1983. He completed his Family Practice Residency at North Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas in 1986.

Finally, if necessary, your physician will prescribe the customized compounded bioidentical hormones and other pharmacy-grade supplements for your personalized program. The compounding pharmacy will contact you and send these directly to your home or office as you request.
