About Kenneth Varano, D.O.

As owner and operator of BodyLogicMD of Philadelphia, Kenneth Varano, D.O. dedicates his practice to anti-aging and preventive medicine, helping men and women find relief from symptoms of perimenopause, menopause, andropause (the male menopause), adrenal fatigue and thyroid disorder. Dr. Varano believes in a proactive approach to wellness and uses bioidentical hormones to correct underlying hormonal imbalances and customizes fitness and nutrition programs coupled with stress reduction techniques to help guide his patients through the aging process.

Dr. Kenneth Varano decided to transition into functional and wellness medicine so he could provide his patients with the medical care and attention that they both require and deserve. Dr. Varano wanted to step outside of the box that was traditional medicine and exercise a more proactive approach to medicine. Dr. Varano saw the value in holistic alternatives and lifestyle management and how together, they could prove more effective than prescription drugs.

Kenneth Varano, D.O. received his undergraduate from New York University in 1989. He then graduated from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Dr. Varano fulfilled his internship tract at the Long Beach Medical Center/ Mt. Sinai University in 1995. Dr. Varano is a fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Varano is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and a member of the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

We order the initial labs you'll need for your first visit and we'll schedule the appointment with your new bioidentical hormone physician. Before your visit you'll spend time on our website completing a thorough questionnaire in the convenience of your home.

At your hour-long initial consultation, your physician will meet with you personally to discuss your symptoms, review your results and talk through the appropriate treatment to meet your individualized needs. Our highly experienced physicians undergo hundreds of hours of training in bioidentical hormones and have helped thousands of women and men suffering the symptoms of hormone imbalance.

Finally, if necessary, your physician will prescribe the customized compounded bioidentical hormones and other pharmacy-grade supplements for your personalized program. The compounding pharmacy will contact you and send these directly to your home or office as you request.
