About Jo Ann Holoka, M.D.
Dr. Jo Ann Holoka, Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Jacksonville, dedicates her wellness-driven practice to helping patients gracefully,using a combination of bioidentical hormones personalized nutritional support, pharmaceutical-grade supplementation regimens, physical fitness, and lifestyle coaching, all aimed at optimizing one's overall quality of life. It is her goal to help both women and men relieve symptoms of hormone imbalance such as weight gain, sexual dysfunction, fatigue, depression and irritability, brought on by menopause, andropause (the male menopause), adrenal fatigue and thyroid disorders.
Dr. Jo Ann Holoka is a residency trained and Board Certified OB/GYN who made the transition to anti-aging, regenerative and functional medicine to help patients maintain their overall health and enjoy a better quality of life. Dr. Holoka believes that by incorporating a healthy lifestyle that includes regular fitness, proper nutrition, stress reducing techniques and hormone balance, her patients can prevent age-related diseases and maintain youthful energy and vitality.
Dr. Jo Ann Holoka received her undergraduate from the University of Illinois in 1974. She later earned her medical degree from RUSH Medical College in 1982. After her Internship at St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Holoka completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital, where she served as administrative Chief Resident.She also has a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois and is an active member of the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine, fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
