Rachael Cabreira practices integrative and preventive medicine alongside Dr. Robert Porzio at the BodyLogicDO of San Jose satellite location in Walnut Creek, CA. Rachael helps women and men living with the uncomfortable symptoms associated with aging to achieve balance using customized wellness programs designed to address each patient’s specific and personal needs. Using a combination of integrative therapies such as customized nutrition and fitness regimens, pharmaceutical-grade supplementation, stress reduction techniques and natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), she helps to restore her patients’ energy levels, sexual health, sleep quality, and mental clarity while assisting them in improving their overall health.
Rachel transitioned into preventive and integrative medicine so that she could focus more on disease prevention, instead of disease management. Rather than using prescription drugs to manage a myriad of symptoms, Rachael helps her patients correct the underlying issues at their source using pre-emptive techniques to help them live the best life possible. She is a firm believer in the notion that the changes associated with aging can be avoided with a well-balanced lifestyle. She educates her patients on the importance of health to achieve optimal wellness.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1998 from the Dominican University of California in San Rafael, California, Rachael knew she wanted to do more. In 2006 Rachael earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Medicine and became a certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also went on to become a certified Sexual Health Clinician in 2017. Rachael is also a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, where she is currently in the process of completing over 200-course hours of integrative training to specialize in all aspects of health.
