About Robin Hermes, MD
As Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Albuquerque, Dr. Robin Hermes specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and integrative medicine. Her practice is devoted to helping both men and women find relief from the unpleasant symptoms of hormonal imbalance that are often related to the many phases of menopause, andropause, and other hormonal disorders. Dr. Hermes incorporates bioidentical hormones alongside a customized nutrition and professional-grade supplementation regimen to help guide patients through the aging process.
After practicing for years as a specialist in spine related Pain Management, Dr. Hermes saw the effects that poor nutrition, exercise, and stress had on her patients, and wished she could have intervened sooner. Those lasting effects are what ultimately drove her to transition into integrative medicine where she can work with patients through a more in-depth approach to develop a personalized program, addressing their specific needs. Dr. Hermes uses an integrative methodology that incorporates the use of natural bioidentical hormone replacement, supplements, stress reduction techniques, exercise, and nutrition to help restore energy, mental acuity, and improve the overall quality of life for each patient.
In 1993, Dr. Hermes earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in 1997 and continued at Johns Hopkins Hospital by completing her Fellowship training in Pain Medicine in 1998.
