Kansas City Welcomes New Bioidentical Hormones Expert

BodyLogicMD Welcomes Kansas Bioidentical Hormones Expert, David Shuck, D.O.

KANSAS CITY, KS - September, 2010 - BodyLogicMD, the nation's largest network of highly trained physicians specializing in bioidentical hormones, fitness and nutrition, is pleased to announce the opening of BodyLogicMD of Kansas City. The Kansas-based bioidentical hormones practice is led by Medical Director and BodyLogicMD affiliated physician, David Shuck, D.O. Dr. Shuck is devoted to helping the growing number of women and men in their 30s and older seeking relief from the symptoms of hormonal imbalance, as well as other age-related symptoms associated with perimenopause, menopause, and andropause (the male menopause).

"I made the decision to transition into preventive medicine to help promote optimal health early on," says Dr. Shuck. "My BodyLogicMD practice gives me the opportunity to have a greater impact by taking a more proactive approach to address underlying issues and help prevent disease further down the road, rather than merely treating symptoms as they surface. Plus, I now have more time to work with my patients individually to focus on their unique needs and develop personalized plans that they can follow with ease."

Dr. Shuck encourages his patients to embrace a healthy lifestyle through structured fitness regimens, balanced nutrition and the use of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), when necessary, to relieve symptoms of hormonal imbalance, such as fatigue, depression, hot flashes, low libido, muscle loss, weight gain and sexual dysfunction.

"Dr. Shuck has great expertise and years of training in the field of preventive and wellness medicine and his skill and devotion to helping women and men overcome health challenges, such as hormonal imbalance, make him a perfect fit for the BodyLogicMD network," shares BodyLogicMD Chief Medical Officer, Jennifer Landa, M.D.
