Economic Crisis? Not In The Bioidentical Hormone Therapy Business
Physician Network BodyLogicMD Doubles Size Despite Economic Crisis
Boca Raton, FL - December 2008 - BodyLogicMD, the nation’s fastest growing network of bioidentical hormone therapy physicians is continuing to expand their growth with more office openings and many more patients, despite the current economic crisis. The BodyLogicMD business model is attractive to these highly trained physicians because it frees them up to do what they do best, see patients.
As sponsors of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), BodyLogicMD has access to top doctors in the field of hormonal wellness. Currently, BodyLogicMD has identified the remaining top 25 key markets that it will enter supporting physicians that have participated in the Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (FAARM).
“Health care, especially Hormone Therapy, really is a recession proof industry,” said BodyLogicMD President Patrick Savage. “While no industry goes unscathed, with the increasingly aging population, with a woman entering menopause every 20 seconds in the United States and with an increasing demand by this population to want to live better, this market continues to expand. Industry growth estimates are 9.5% per year and are growing even more rapidly. Even with the economic crisis this year, we increased the number of physician offices by 70% and doubled the number of active patients.”
As a member of the BodyLogicMD network, physicians receive comprehensive marketing support, quality patient administration and importantly, geographic exclusivity. These highly trained physicians must meet rigorous requirements to become members of the BodyLogicMD physician network, including:
- Physician must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in a clinical field that requires patient contact and in good standing with their associated college
- Physician must complete the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (Module 1 before opening, Module 2 within 6 months and course work completion within 2 years)
- Physician must take part in continuing medical education in the area of anti-aging and functional medicine of no less than 150 credits accrued over a 3 year period
- Be an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) www.worldhealth.net
- Physician must pass both oral and written board of the American Board of Anti-Aging Physicians within 1 year of opening their practice
“We work with the finest physicians in America,” said Savage. “The fields of anti-aging medicine and bioidentical hormonal therapy are growing rapidly. We are proud to support the best physicians.”
