About Dr Madlang

As the owner and operator of BodyLogicMD of Salt Lake City based in Ogden, Utah, Dr. Madlang dedicates his practice to preventive anti-aging medicine and wellness, and helps his patients find relief from symptoms of menopause and andropause, including fatigue, depression, weight gain and night sweats using bioidentical hormone therapy integrated with customized fitness and nutrition programs. BodyLogicMD’s Dr. Rudy Madlang believes that anti-aging medicine is the answer to America’s current health crisis. He decided to make the 180 degree leap from anesthesiology into preventive medicine after years of witnessing the disturbing trend of more and more patients undergoing surgeries that were the end result of preventable illnesses, many due to the negative effects of stress, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and hormonal imbalances related to aging.

Dr. Madlang earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School in 1979 and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Hospital and Clinics in 1982. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1984.

Dr. Madlang completed postgraduate training from the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture at UCLA in 1996. He was also an active member of the McKay-Dee Hospital and Medical Center in Ogden, Utah for over ten years. Madlang served as the Assistant Chief of Anesthesiology from 1990-1991 and later as the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology from 1999-2002. He had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Mountain West Anesthesia.

Dr. Madlang is Board Certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine and an active member of the Fellowship for Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine.

At your hour-long initial consultation, your BodyLogicMD physician will meet with you personally to discuss your symptoms, review your results and talk through the appropriate treatment to meet your individualized needs. Our highly experienced physicians undergo hundreds of hours of training in bioidentical hormones and have helped thousands of women and men suffering the symptoms of hormone imbalance.

Finally, if necessary, your BodyLogicMD physician will prescribe the customized compounded bioidentical hormones and other pharmacy-grade supplements for your personalized program. The compounding pharmacy will contact you and send these directly to your home or office as you request.
