About Lisbeth Roy, D.O.

Lisbeth Roy, D.O. practices integrative and functional medicine at the Ft. Lauderdale-based bioidentical hormones practice that she shares with fellow BodyLogicMD physician, Dr. Jeffrey Thackrey. Dr. Roy helps women and men suffering from symptoms of hormonal imbalance and age-related health challenges, oftentimes associated with menopause, andropause (the male menopause), thyroid disorders and adrenal fatigue, through the implementation of customized wellness programs that integrate personalized nutrition and fitness regimens with natural bioidentical hormone therapy.

Dr. Roy understands the critical connections between whole body wellness, disease prevention and functional medicine. By treating the body as a whole, Dr. Roy is able to help her patients optimize each aspect of their overall health. Instead of treating a host of symptoms, Dr. Roy focuses on the body’s inherent ability to heal itself, often without the use of prescription drugs and surgery. Dr. Roy gears her practice towards optimal health and wellness from a preventive standpoint, often reversing the disease process.

Dr. Lisbeth Roy graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire, in 1998. Dr. Roy then earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. Dr. Roy is Board Eligible by the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine and is an active member of the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. In addition, she also participated in an Osteopathic Rotating Internship at the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Orlando from 2005-2006.

Finally, if necessary, your BodyLogicMD physician will prescribe the customized compounded bioidentical hormones and other pharmacy-grade supplements for your personalized program. The compounding pharmacy will contact you and send these directly to your home or office as you request.
