About Dr. Gorn

As the owner and operator of BodyLogicMD of Dallas, Dr. Lisa Gorn devotes her bioidentical hormones practice to offering patients proven therapies for relieving the symptoms of menopause, andropause and other hormonal imbalance conditions such as thyroid disorder and adrenal fatigue. Dr. Gorn includes bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) along with customized nutritional counseling and personalized fitness guidance as a part of her physician-supervised program.

As a former Endocrinologist, Dr. Lisa Gorn experienced first-hand the negative effects hormone imbalance can have on the body. She has helped thousands of patients with hormone issues throughout her career, but was often faced with treating her patients in the end stages of disease and ailment. By focusing exclusively on the preventive side of medicine, Dr. Gorn can correct many concerns at their source and make a greater impact in the lives of her patients.

Dr. Gorn has been recognized by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists for her research on type 1 Diabetes and has authored several articles on the topic.

Dr. Lisa Gorn received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Boston University in Boston, MA in 1992. Dr. Gorn attended Nova Southeastern University: College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. In 2003, Dr. Gorn continued her education with her internship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2005. Lisa Gorn, D.O. completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami: Miller School of Medicine in 2008. Dr. Lisa Gorn is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Gorn is an active member of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.

At your hour-long initial consultation, your BodyLogicMD physician will meet with you personally to discuss your symptoms, review your results and talk through the appropriate treatment to meet your individualized needs. Our highly experienced physicians undergo hundreds of hours of training in bioidentical hormones and have helped thousands of women and men suffering the symptoms of hormone imbalance.

Finally, if necessary, your BodyLogicMD physician will prescribe the customized compounded bioidentical hormones and other pharmacy-grade supplements for your personalized program. The compounding pharmacy will contact you and send these directly to your home or office as you request.
