Dr. Areej Salem, M.D., practices integrative and functional medicine alongside fellow bioidentical hormones specialist Dr. Jennifer Landa at BodyLogicMD of Orlando, Florida. Dr. Salem uses customized wellness programs combining natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), personalized fitness and nutrition programs, pharmaceutical-grade supplementation and stress reduction techniques to help women and men find relief from the symptoms of menopause, andropause (the male menopause) and other hormonal imbalances.

The reactionary approach of traditional medicine left Dr. Salem looking for a better way to help her patients live the best life possible. Dr. Salem received her medical degree at the Universidad IberoAmericana School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and completed residencies Christiana Care Health Systems in Newark, Delaware as well as an internship at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received the Medical Dental Staff First Place Award for Research from Christiana Care Health Systems in May, 2006 and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
