I am eternally in Dr. Crisp's debt for what she has done for my sanity, my health, my marriage! I was so close to being dead, I wished that I were dead. At 37 my symptoms from estrogen dominance had taken over and ruined my life, what was left of it. My ob-gyn kept telling me I was fine, but depressed. He prescribed birth control pills for endometriosis! (The synthetic estrogen would have killed me.) A counselor tried to give me an anti-depressant. I was smart enough not to take either of them. And so it went for month after excruciating month. Then I found Dr. Crisp! My husband searched online after seeing Oprah’s show about bioidenticals. I did my saliva and blood test and saw Dr. Crisp in February. I had very high estrogen and low progesterone and low testosterone. Dr. Crisp prescribed bioidentical progesterone, estrogen and testosterone for me to help balance my hormone levels. I got my prescriptions filled immediately and noticed an overnight improvement! I was able to function without sleeping all afternoon just to get through four more hours of evening. I was astonished! And scared. I hoped it wasn't a fluke that would disappear in a few days. Three weeks into my new regimen, I started my period. THIS would be the real test. Up until seeing Dr. Crisp, I had to take narcotics every month on the first and second day of my period. March would be quite different! NOT ONE CRAMP! I didn't feel anything. I bled normally and functioned and never felt it. From pain pills to nothing in one month! My husband still can't believe it. To think that I almost scheduled a hysterectomy! I cannot say enough great things about BodyLogic and Dr. Crisp! I just wish it were covered under insurance so more of my friends could do it. Funny how the things that DON'T help are covered.
