Prior to finding BodyLogicMD’s Miami, Florida office and Dr. Mike Lee, I had severe itching all over my body for months that was progressively getting worse to the extent that my skin was covered in excoriations and bleeding areas. Taking a shower sometimes even felt like fire on my skin, and I was additionally battling to sleep at night, and suffering severe fatigue during the day.

I had tried cortisone creams and oral prednisone with only temporary relief and dermatologists and allergists just attributed everything to stress induced eczema. But as a physician myself, with knowledge of environmental and naturopathic medicine, I knew there was more to the problem. Of course the resolution of the fatigue and intolerances will be a more gradual process to correct, but I feel healthier than I have for years.

He also suggested an ALCAT food allergy and food sensitivity test for food intolerances when some of my symptoms returned to a mild degree after a few weeks, and this test really helped me to know what foods to avoid. Again within two to four days all itching resolved, and I have been free of this now for months.

On occasion, I have had one of the foods on the severe intolerance list and I immediately notice itching. It is so wonderful to know I am on a path to not only recovery from the adrenal insufficiency and food intolerances, but also to better health. I am detoxifying my body and reducing inflammation, which I know contributes to chronic disease and aging. I was very impressed with Dr. Lee and how I was treated at each visit.
