Internal inflammation is often overlooked or misdiagnosed by the traditional medical community – a fact that leaves individuals unaware of the actual medical issues they face, with little hope for improvement.

Inflammation occurs when the processes of the body work to protect itself from various infection and disease. Excess inflammation can cause severe systemic problems among body parts that often times lead to a variety of inflammatory diseases and related conditions.

What’s the common denominator linking these diseases? Inflammation.

Inflammatory diseases occur when the body’s defense system turns against itself – our cells become inflamed; they retain water and can cause a variety of medical issues. When coupled with a high-sodium, high-fat diet, and a sedentary lifestyle, inflammatory disease can seriously affect all the body’s major systems. This is also referred to as autoimmune disease.

Almost 50 percent of Americans suffer from some type of an inflammatory disease. The cause? In most cases, it’s due to daily lifestyle, food quality, and fitness levels.
