Virginia Hopkins brings science to alternative medicine and commonsense to conventional medicine. She co-authored two best-selling books with Dr. John Lee, and writes the Virginia Hopkins Health Watch, an e-mail newsletter about natural hormones for women and men, nutrition news, prescription alternatives, and much more!

 

The mission of the Virginia Hopkins Health Watch is to educate women and men about the safe use of bioidentical (natural) hormones, and to share helpful, useful and commonsense information about health and nutrition based on solid scientific research.

She has a masters degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.Virginia is the co-author, with John R. Lee, M.D. of the books: Dr. John lee's Hormone Balance Made Simple, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About PREmenopause, And the best-selling classic, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause. She also co-authored another best-seller, Prescription Alternatives, with Earl Mindell, R.Ph., Ph.D., as well as Save Your Sight (Warner Books, 1998), with Marc Rose, M.D. Virginia was the managing editor of the "Mindell Report" and "The John R. Lee, M.D. Medical Letter" and has or co-authored and/or ghost written more than 30 books on alternative health and nutrition. She is currently the editor of the "Virginia Hopkins Health Watch," an e-mail newsletter with a wide readership. In addition, Hopkins is currently working with BodyLogicMD Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jennifer Landa, on her upcoming book about sex and libido.
