Deborah Ravenwood was not feeling like herself. She assumed that she was going through menopause since early menopause runs in her family. After realizing that she wanted to receive an individualized treatment that was as close to being holistic as possible, she sought the help of Dr. Alicia Stanton, who performs bioidentical hormone therapy from a BodyLogicMD practice. She explained that a hormone imbalance is when the messengers in your body get mixed up. Bioidentical hormones can help because they are the same structure as the hormones found in your body and therefore are recognized by your body as being the same. After receiving tests, Deborah found out that she wasn’t going through menopause, but rather another type of hormonal imbalance, low adrenals. She is currently receiving treatment and feels much better.
